Dallas based alternative band Frognot features some familiar area faces. Drummer April Samuels played in 100 Proof, Sloe Gin, and East of Eden. Singer/guitarist Dennis Leonard is known for his time in Pulp Society and his versatility. Just check his conga and violin chops. Full time guitar playing duties are performed by Ken Allen. Brian Starustka's solid, funky bass lines lock right into April's solid beats. Frognot has made the ballot for the best alternative band at www.musicstew.com for the first annual music stew awards and has been heard on 97.1 KEGL, KTCK, and KNTU, as well as making two appearances on "Good Day Dallas". Frognot's debut CD "Welcome to Frognot" features 11 tracks with my favorites being "What I Want" and "Mother".
