Over the past few years, I noticed increasing pain in my left hand during drumming and computing. My fingers would tingle periodically and often I would awake with numbness in my hand. I visited a hand surgeon, Dr. Earl Lund in Plano, and confirmed my suspicion. Later it was determined that surgery (Figure 1) was necessary.
