Dallas, March 18, 1998 – 100 Proof Entertainment has announced that The Frognot CD Release Party will be Saturday, April 11, 1998, at The Galaxy Club in Dallas, TX. The party will celebrate the release of Frognot's debut CD, Welcome to Frognot. The long awaited Frognot 11-song CD will be released in April, 1998, after spending one year in the making.
The Frognot Sampler, released in the Spring of 1997, contains two songs from Welcome to Frognot and has sparked interest from record companies from coast to coast. The Frognot single "What I Want" has received airplay on such stations as KTXQ 102.1 in Dallas, TX; WUTS 91.3 in Sewanee, TN; and 99.7 in Brisbane, Australia.
On March 17th, Frognot's drummer, April Samuels, made an on air appearance during Chris Arnold's talk show on KTCK 1310 AM, The Ticket, to promote the new CD. During the show, the Frognot single "You Never Know" was aired for the first time. All members of Frognot have been invited to be present at the studios of KDMX, Mix 102.9, during the live airing of the Alan Kabel morning show on April 24th from 6:00am until 10:00am. Frognot has been asked to come prepared to perform live on the air.
Welcome to Frognot will be available in Dallas, TX, at Bill's Records and Tapes and Blockbuster Music as well as at venues hosting Frognot performances.
