Latest Word on Frognot Drummer's Return Following November Surgery
April Samuels visited her doctor
on December 15 and was told she could not return to drumming until after another
month has transpired and he is able to re-evaluate her hand. Ms. Samuels is
scheduled to visit Dr. Lund again on January 12. This has pushed Frognot's return
date back yet another month. The first show back is now scheduled for Friday,
February 19 at The Galaxy Club at midnight.

Welcome to Frognot: Out of Blockbuster Music Temporarily
Late in September, Blockbuster Music contacted all consignors and asked that they remove their product from their stores by October 1. A company called Where House Entertainment, Inc. had bought out Blockbuster Music and asked that all consignment product be removed in order to count inventory. Consignors where told they would be able to put product back into stores in 1999. In a hurry to get Welcome to Frognot back in stores, on November 6, 100 Proof Entertainment opted to go with a local distributor (Crystal Clear Sound Distribution) who assured 100 Proof Entertainment that Welcome to Frognot would be back and available in the stores within a week of delivery. Unfortunately, over month later, Crystal Clear Sound Distribution has not been able to return Welcome to Frognot to Blockbuster Music. It is unclear what is holding up distribution. Numerous phone calls from 100 Proof Entertainment pressuring Crystal Clear Sound has proved unsuccessful. In the meantime, Welcome to Frognot can be purchased through the Merchandise Page.
Frognot Jumps on New Bassist
Bassist Brian Starustka was asked
to join Frognot immediately following Frognot's last show with Todd
Samuels on October 30. Frognot is enjoying working on new material with
Brian and expects to highlight the tunes upon their return in February.
