New frog in the pond
As of April 20, 2000, Frognot and guitarist Ken Allen have parted ways. Please welcome us in joining new guitarist Mike Harris into the Frognot family (joined May 6, 2000). Mike's quickly getting jiggy with the Frognot groove, and his first show will be on Friday, May 26th at the Green Frog in Abilene, Texas, so come on out and welcome him properly. Mike has been playing the Dallas club circuit off and on for ten plus years for such bands as Sneaker Geek and Petroleum Reptile.

Prepare your ears for imminent funk
We new you couldn't get enough Frognot. One CD just isn't enough. Lucky for you, Frognot will be releasing a second incredible album at the end of this June. The presently untitled CD will contain 11 tracks, including a techno remix of 'What I Want'. In addition to your much-loved Frognot quartet, you'll hear an orchestral accompaniment and a gospel choir mixed in. Get ready for some serious grooving. Not only will you be able to get your Frognot fix at live shows, but now you'll be able to listen to classic Frognot tunes as well as the kickin' new stuff at home and work. The CD will be available at all major retail outlets including Best Buy; Bill's Records, Tapes, and CDs; Tower Records; and Barnes & Noble. It will also be available online via frognot.com, amazon.com, broadcast.com, earbuzz.com, indietop40.com, mp3.com, ezcd.com, The Orchard.

Frognot music on The Discovery Channel!
Three rocking Frognot tracks will be featured on the Discovery Channel's new series called Outward Bound. The Frognot tune "Everyday Thing" can be heard on the debut episode of the series on June 3rd at 10AM (CST). Additionally, "You Never Know" will be in the fourth episode on June 24th, and "Little Pieces" will be on the seventh episode on July 15th (check you local listings for times and dates - schedules are known to change). The producers of the show found Frognot's music via the Internet and fell in love with it, wanting to incorporate it into their show.

Outward Bound is a documentary that takes place in the Puget Sound near Seattle, Washington, and the breathtaking Cascade Mountains in central Washington. The show will be shot in much the same style as MTV's Real World, focusing on eight teenagers as they enjoy various adventures that are a part of the Outward Bound school.
